25 years on now from independence in Brunei.

I opted to watch the Oscars instead of the N-day parade the day before actually. :D I didn't wake up early enough to catch the beginning though, or the middle for that matter. Watched the replay though [primetime telecast :P] despite the frequent interruptions in satellite signals due to the heavy rain yesterday. It was freaking hot in the morning so yeah. YAY for rain!

Anyway, the Oscars! Sumdog Millionaire won big! 8 out of 10 nominations I think? That's a pretty awesome feat for a debut director and a small budget film. The only nominated movies I've watched are Slumdog and Benjamin Button. I'm hoping I'll catch The Reader, Pineapple Express, Doubt, Milk? Frost/Nixon looks pretty good too.
