Twenty ten, baby!

Time for Miracles ♪ Adam Lambert

So it's officially the last day of 2009. Must say it's been one heck of a year, and I'm sure you all agree.

Let's see...

- Scramble for our O level results: crazyyyy stuff! I know a bitched a LOT (and I mean A LOOOOOOTTTTT especially after graduation EHEH) about PDS after I left, but now I just wanna say thank you to my Alma Mater (cue the AWWWWW) LOL~ But really though, I miss the highschool days already, can't believe it's only been a year! And all you exPDS Katok-ers!

- choosing the right sixth form centre to join: I looked into JIS, ISB, Katok and even overseas!

- induction into Maktab Duli:
I don't regret choosing this place, I've met just way too many wonderful and just all-round awesome people I've met and become so close to in just literally a couple of months. <3

- Melbourne trip:
WHAT CAN I SAY I'M IN LOVE WITH THE PLACE! No but seriously though, I'd love to stay there! Especially during winter EHEH. Plus, it was the first time in a long time that I had visited a country I've never been to before, so that made the trip all the more memorable!

- Eid in India:
hadn't had this in ages, so it was a little different to not be in the yearly routine, but it was good anyway (:

- Mocks and AS Levels: 'nuff said.

- The countless times I had hangouts during lunch/PS-es with probably the best company you can get:
I could name you guys one by one here, but I don't need to. You know who you are and thanks for making school a little less boring & schedule-y and all the more exciting (:
I LOVE YOU GUYS!

I think I'll spend tomorrow writing up a list of resolutions. I realised I haven't done this in ages because I'm always so sure I won't fulfill 'em, but I'm gonna give it a go this year anyway. One list of resolutions for 2010 comin' up! :D
Okay, I should've started last week. This'll take a little longer than it should.

Blog revival 9783457th time.

Yes, I've decided to revive it, yet again because I feel bad. HAHA No literally, I feel bad for ditching blogger for twitter. It's just so much easier to tweet from your phone than to sit down, grab a laptop/computer, and open a blank page just to have everything that happened that day deleted from your mind just when you thought looooads of interesting things to post about. I know I'm not the only one this happens to :p

What's new.. Hmm I've literally just finished the first year of my Maktab Duli 2-year course [haha fancyyy] and honestly it couldn't have gone any faster! I'm actually going to miss having free time. I've gotten loads of warnings and such from current seniors, they've got me shitscared :S Quote: "You won't have time to feel bored next year". THANKS HAM! *forced smile.

The wise words of my chemistry teacher which I think I've blogged before:
"YOU ALL DON'T HAVE HOLIDAYS UNTIL THE END OF NOVEMBER 2010!"
Brilliant.
I've honestly enjoyed this year actually. Meeting loadsa new people, being a LOT less anti-social [Hey I don't like being a loner, as much as it seems!], met some of the coolest people I'll ever meet, definitely missing the PDSers <3 and PDS SMS School altogether a lot more than I thought I'd be. So all that complaining really, was just me complaining because I... like to complain.

Other than that, I don't really want to talk about Liverpool's status in football right now, hopefully there's going to be a turnaround and DEFINITELY LESS INJURIES PLEASE. We're like cursed this year or something, it sucks so bad. :/ I'm keeping the faith tho, we're going to make it to the top 4 atleast by the end of the season (y) YNWA!

Missed the last two days of school because I was suddenly hit with this virus sort of thing, which had be literally in bed for almost two days, with the IV line and all. And 'cuz of this, I couldn't hangout with Jan on Wednesday and feel totally shitty about it :( IMY @OHRIELLEY! At least I managed to see her though, PDS Primary graduation last week. Come back soon, and for longer! Btw, Arf's going to be in Form1! That's secon-freakin-dary! I feel so old!

DID I MENTION I'M ON HOLIDAY NOW? HELLZ YESSIREE. Not that it makes a difference, really. I'll just be a few hundred pounds heavier by the end of it. And totally clueless on school work. But hey, that's what holidays are for! :D

Reading from the last post, we did go to India for Eid, it was good I guess, felt different after having Eid in Brunei for so long [no open-housing was like a cultureshock!] but overall it was good with the cousins and stuff (: Not to mention nice baju EHEH.

P.S.: I just read some of my last few posts. Man, do I sound bimbotic or what?

cookie... jar.

Yes people, you're looking at the all new LG KP500 phone, otherwise known as Cookie. And it is miiiine.:D Yea, you won't love the sensitivity [0r lack of] with this phone if you've had or handled an iPhone, but for the price difference, I think it's acceptable. And it's not horrible, just not AS sensitive.
You'd hate to be there when I chose it though, because it took so long for me to say "Yes, dad, I choose this phone." Never ever go electronic shopping with me, I tell you. *nudges Fa2d.
I still sort of have a choice between this one and the Nokia E51. And as much as I love this phone already [ :O ] I still like the Wi-Fi feature in the E51. And if you're wondering why I don't just get the new Nokia or whatever, it's over my budget kayyy. :p

Links to Full Specifications:
LG Cookie and Nokia E51

P.S.: Check out the "more pictures" for both too before you judge on the display picture.
Any comments/recommendations at the tagboard please :D

College is average. First MPRs are about to begin for some, and have already have for others. Can't wait for "VIP" day. HAHA a.k.a. parents :P

As for football, yea go ahead and rub it in my face if you're not a Kopite. There's still another 90 minutes, mind you! And we're playing Blackburn today

P.S.: MUM GOT THE LG PRADA PHONE. :O

I litter in public only.

First of all - Earth Hour 2009.
I have to admit my sheer disappointment with the lack of eco-awareness in my family. I was so pissed that day lemme tell you. They can't even just sit in almost darkness [CMON MAN I PREPARED CANDLES] for an hour just so that our earth may be able to live a little longer. Their reason(s), you ask?
[a] *Looks out the window* Nobody else turned theirs off, why should we?
[b] CMONNNN Our favourite TV show is on now, you can't possibly think we would turn the TV off just for "earth hour" or whatever it is.
[c] Don't be silly.
[d] YOU WANT US TO SIT IN THIS HEAT?

Mind you people, this is 8.30pm where it isn't all that hot because they had the air-conditioning going for the last 3 hours and Brunei is never cold. =.= Babies, man, srsly. You don't have to, yknow, be super eco-friendly to the point where you're a tree-hugging hippie or anything! Psh.

Besides that, 10 days of [almost] nothingness was well neededwanted. I went over almost everyday to Aunty Yasmin's house to do this mosaic tiling thing, which was cool. Initially, I was just followed my sister and I brought my homework [*shockface] but I ended up finishing the last homework on the last day, which ironically was what I planned not to do.

College's been fine I guess, tests and shit coming up soon. Ecsatic.

P.S.: If you're an "MD-ian", I'm the one with the map :p

In the wise words of Tikah, CLEAN UP THE WOOOOORLDDDD!

FOUR FREAKING ONE

Whew. What a week!
I had to go to KL for my sister's graduation last weekend, and I missed 2 days right, the chemistry teacher ends up giving a shitload of work. So, I got my sister to help me out with that. All the other subjects seem fine though, but like I said... the bad vibes were right. We've got about just a little over a week off starting tomorrow, and whoopieee, shitloads of holiday homework.

YOU ALL DON'T HAVE HOLIDAYS TILL THE END OF YOUR A LEVEL EXAMS!!! - guess who?

The KL trip was a good "getaway" though. I was a little anxious about leaving college [ :0 ] for 2 whole days because I saw the workload. But I managed to... manage my stuff. :P

Besides managing workloads and my newfound allergies, FOOTBALL WEEK WAS AAAAAAAAAAWESUUUUUUUUUUUM. The downside, I didn't watch either matches [Real Madrid and Manchester United] live for different reasons. What games to miss, ey? Thank god for replays.

I didn't join any ECAs. Stupid me. I hope it isn't too late after the holidays? :P sucker much.

I need pictures on here, don't I?

p.s.: MANCS GOT PWND AT HOOOOOME :p

Are you twins?

So we had the first day of lessons today, at Maktab Duli. (; I'm proud to say I didn't get lost. Okay, I couldn't find my way because I didn't check which classroom I was using for the respective subjects. 0:-)

Block 1 - Chemistry - Mrs Elias
Block 2 - Math - Mr Zachariah
Block 3 - Thinking Skills - Mr Fitt
Block 4 - Biology - Cikgu NoorLinda
Block 5 - Private/Personal Study.

I have a feeling I won't be enjoying chemistry much. It's the vibes I'm getting from the teacher? HAHA idk mayn. She gave us a test on the freaking first class to see how much we know/remember. I hadn't touched the freaking books in the last 3 months. I even gave them away and stuff :P So yeah. Thinking skills seems pretty interesting but I'm a little intimidated by my Maths classmates, apparently they most got 1s and 2s for dmaths and admaths, and yes they ALL took admaths. So yeah, it's an academic race, quoted by Mr Zach. Yaay.

I haven't gotten my biology textbooks, but I heard there are 6 of them. Yes SIX, ENAM, CHEY. But that's nothing compared Chemistry, 5 fatass books man which are bigger than the 6 bio books combined. So yeah. On top of that, we don't even have to bring the Chemistry books to school, it's for self study. THANKGOD.

Apparently Sarah and I look like, quoted "twins". No exaggerating here, srsly. Some people even thought we were the same person! I don't think I look anything like her, but then again I guess it'll take some time. It's a bit disturbing though :S HAHA Here are a few things people said to me.

"Are you two twins?" Hell no.
"You're the girl who's friend that tall girl right from STPRI?" Um, no that's my cousin.
"You're the girl who's the one who took physics, right?" I don't take Physics, that's my cousin.

DO WE REALLY FREAKING LOOK THE SAME? :P

Aaaanyway, I'm looking forward to meeting all my classmates, and actually remembering where my classes are without whipping out my diary and asking around doofusly. 8-| But it's still the first day of class, so yeah. I kind of have a good feeling about MD, suprise suprise!

Aside from school, the only other thing is football. It's a big week for us! Real Madrid and Manchester United in one week. Heart-failure week! I can't wait. I do hope I get to watch them though, I'd probably die before kick-off because of my nervesessss.

I've gotten a horrible, horrible heatrash from the sun though. Gah it's unpreventableeee.

<3

please see: Monday's off. Maulud (: 2 daaays.

terletak di atas bukiiiit

I'm officially a MDian now, since orientation is over and classes will begin on Saturday. So, I guess I'm looking forward to that and try to get the anti-socialness out of me. Met a couple of people I hadn't seen in ages! And a couple of new people too. I hate the uniform though. It screams hag to me.

Orientation nearly killed me on the first two days because of the sudden lack of sleep/food and increase of.. briefings? :P But I managed to live through, and get Jolibee for lunch once too. OOPS. We had a biology briefing too, and boy did that scare the shit out of me :S Something's telling me I'm not going to be blogging much these two years :P

And you have to hear the school song(s)! Yes, we have two. I'll leave it at that.

I hope I don't get lost too often, because I'm shitty at navigation and direction. So I'm going to have my fingers crossed on that.

I'll leave my MDness here.
Laiqers out.

Did I mention my dislike towards the uniform?

p.s.: There's an ECA for guitar! :p
